Angie came to our care in 2016 from the Public Shelter after her owner took her there and left her. She was a small pup who had a nasty wound to her paw which has fully healed now.

Angie is a confident dog who mixes well with the other dogs in her enclosure.
Angie has been a mediator at times with the other dogs, stopping the trouble maker from pushing their weight around. We are looking for an experienced adopter who has preferably had German Shepherds before who can shape Angie into the dog we know she can be. She will both benefit and thrive with the required training classes she will attend once she has arrived and fully settled. If you have a balanced dog who is sociable but can give Angie her space to settle then this would be ideal.

We would consider a home with older children of 12 and upwards who will be more aware of the space and boundaries Angie will need. We do not know how she is with cats so will only consider a cat free home for her.
As Angie is living in a shelter/kennel environment currently she will require a degree of toilet training, which her adopters should be patient with. She will also, like all our dogs, require to be introduced to walking with her harness and lead.

Angie is a total blank canvass, she could quite possibly excel at a doggy activity such as working trials or scent work, the sky is the limit for her adopters. We feel she would prefer a home that can offer her this additional activity rather than a sofa surfer.

If you would like to offer Angie her forever home then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you
