Meet Attila, our big bouncy lad who joined us from the Public Shelter in 2016. Attila has recently started sharing his enclosure with a lovely quiet female dog who has really given him the company he needed. We would like to see a similar female dog in his new home who can show him the ropes and help his confidence grow as he settles in. Attila may also like to be an only dog in the right home.

Attila would love a home of his own, someone that has had a similar dog, a loyal guarding breed. He doesn't like large male dogs in particular so we would not consider a home with a male dog at this time.

Attila is a fair sized sturdy build dog who can very easily bowl over smaller children so we will only consider homes with children of 12+. He has been known to knock a wee Welsh woman called Sandra out the way to gain his freedom at the new shelter!

Despite his size, Attila doesn't have a bad bone in his body and simply needs someone with experience to guide him and show him the ropes of home life such as house rules, boundaries and all the basics required. His training class will be a big help with this.

He has had a very basic introduction to walking on a harness and lead on his freedom day, but this will require further work in his new home along with toilet training to some degree.

If you would like to offer Attila the forever home he deserves, then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you

If you would like to be a doggy sponsor then please see How You Can Help for further details. All our dogs love toys and treats and would welcome these from our Amazon Wishlist.
