The first lucky passenger on our first happy bus of 2022 will be Ella!

Ella has been with us since late 2021 and has blossomed and cannot wait to join her forever family soon.  She is in good hands as they already have another beautiful GSP called Beau who will be a great friend for Ella as she settles in and beyond.

Well done Ella!  We cannot wait to welcome you home to Scotland soon

Our 2020 so far

Like so many other charitable animal rescues, ours has faced a very trying time during the entire 2020 so far.  From Lockdown in February onwards, we have seen our doors close to rehoming and open again, albeit briefly again to rehoming dogs.    We are always looking at ways to improve our adoption process so have looked to technology to help us keep going with the cat rehoming just now via the wonders of Zoom.   Whilst our doors remain closed, for now, to dog adoptions we hope to review this again in the very near future.

HAPPY DANCES AT LAST!

Here are our 3 lucky Happy Bus Passengers so far!  Left to right we have Sirius, Lucifer and Hamish, all now reserved and soon to travel to Scotland, Covid permitting, in November 2020.   This may well be our first and last transport of 2020, but we remain ever positive of more furry passengers being able to join them on this or future transports.

Picture
Our last confirmed passenger on this first and last transport will be Candy, the super sweet cuddly cat.  Candy has waited a wee while to be admired and reserved, but it was worth the wait to find the perfect forever home.

Candy will very soon pack her bag and hop onto the Happy Bus to join her new mum in Scotland.  She will be an only cat and as such will be completely spoiled as any cat deserved to be!

Cutee Amaya is now reserved for adoption. Her family have been patiently waiting for just the right dog to join their family. Amaya will join Molly, another dog adopted from us, when she arrives to her forever home in Scotland.

We are also delighted as Amaya will be our first dog (or cat) adopted in almost a year. We could not be more happy to know she will be headed to her home very soon to join her forever family

Time for a Happy Dance!

We are delighted to let you know that pintsized pocket rocket Toby is now reserved for adoption.

He will soon travel to Scotland to join Bobby and his extended furry family. Bobby was adopted from us in 2016 and recently, and very sadly, lost one of his furry brothers and sisters. We are always grateful when an adopter choses to open their home and heart again, and who could blame them - Toby is just adorable.

I wonder who might be next to join Toby and the cats on the Happy Bus? <3
Happy Dance Time!

Honey is the next to be reserved to a forever home. Her family are so excited and cannot wait for her to arrive to Scotland on the next transport, which we hope won't be too long.

She is the sweetest cat, who we are sure, will love having a family and home of her own, for the first time in her life

Happy Dance Time for Momo!!!
This wee guy has survived against all the odds and become a very handsome young pupper indeed. We are delighted that he has now finally found his forever family. He will soon be hopping on the happy bus and joining his mum, dad and furry brother Leo the cat in Scotland.
I'm sure that this will be a hard goodbye for Florentina and Florin, but this is his chance and he is taking it with all 4 paws. Pack your bags Momo because you are coming home <3

We are delighted to let you know that following a very successful homecheck little Miss Neve has finally bagged herself a forever family of her own. Her family are delighted that she will be joining them soon, and none more so than her little big sister Sophie, her cousin from Romania who is patiently waiting for a new pal to get up to mischief with.

This one was worth the wait. We are delighted to announce that the lovely Athos and Tommy are now both reserved and will travel to their new home in Scotland together in September. Athos has been another long stay cat who's been with us for over 2 years and Tommy over a year.

We are so happy as they are such a loving bonded pair of cats to find them this home. Their new mum and dad can't wait to meet them!

Oh this is a wonderful day isn't it with all the new beginnings. Hopefully won't be long before we can dance again.

Neutering Campaign with Romanian Animal Rescue

Big thanks to Ralf for organising the neutering campaign for the unwanted public shelter dogs. The remaining dogs were all neutered yesterday in 2 locations. Special thanks go to Dr Aurelian Stefan and Dr Petrisor Stefan and their team of vet technicians and volunteers. In total 61 dogs were neutered leaving only 6 who outwitted the best capture methods to remain in tact another day (but not for long). This is a massive achievement! And not forgetting also the hard work Florentina and Florin do. It's hard to forget their continued tireless work helping and caring for all the dogs
