Introducing Mia, our pintsized pupper who has been with us since early December having been found dumped in the local village and unclaimed.

Mia had the sweetest nature, and has taken to her furry friend Brady. They are constant companions and Brady has given Mia so much confidence since she arrived. Mia is looking ideally for a home with another calm, balanced natured dog who can offer companionship to our girl. Mia is not looking to be placed in a home with a pup or dog who is too high energy/too playful – she has had at least one litter of pups already and now deserves a quieter home. We will also consider Mia to be an only dog in a home with someone who is home all day, so that she isn’t left alone daily for hours – we would potentially consider someone who works from home.

Mia just loves people, she loves nothing more than to have some fuss and a cuddle or two on her terms. She is still very unsure of some sudden movements and louder noises so we feel a home without children would be best, however would consider a home with children 8+ years old who can demonstrate the space and boundaries a dog needs, and in particular being hands off initially with Mia. Mia is absolutely fine with cats, however any cats would need to be used to dogs and be gentle as Mia has been a little overwhelmed with cats so far when being cat tested (being a little larger than she is).
Mia has been fairly clean in her foster home, however any adopter should be aware that accidents can and most likely will happen when first arriving and settling in. An enclosed garden space is a must to allow a safe outdoor space for Mia. Mia will, like all our dogs, do well with her formal training after she settled in, she is very motivated by praise and food, so this will be much easier because of this. She will also need to be fully introduced to walking on a harness and lead when she first arrives.

If you are looking for a small but mighty dog to join your home, then look no further than Mia.
If you would like to offer Mia the forever home she deserves, then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you

Mia is looking for a monthly sponsor who can help us cover all her daily care costs and preparation to travel. If you’d like to help sponsor Mia or any of our other 110+ dogs or cats then please get in touch.  All our dogs love toys and treats and would welcome these from our Amazon Wishlist.
