Meet Misty, another of our lucky ones, saved in 2016 from death at the Public Shelter.

Fast forward a few short months and Misty has transformed physically and mentally. In February she was skeletal and very very frightened and had pneumonia. She has gained weight slowly and is now fully fit and healthy. Misty is a friendly girl who has been easy to fit in at the shelter, she is the leader of her pack of 3 with Gipsy and Boots. Misty is the first to greet you with a hug and a wag of her tail. She is a little food possessive, but this can be worked on further in her forever home.

Misty would ideally be looking for a forever home with another dog for company, someone who isn't overly bossy and is laid back. We are unsure how she is with cats, so a cat free home is a must. Misty is super friendly, but a little bouncy so ideally a home without small children.

Misty, like all our dogs, is very motivated by food. This will make the required training classes that much easier. She is a very intelligent dog and will thrive with some further doggy education. She may also like a challenge of something like agility or other activity once fully settled into her forever home.

She will require some work on becoming toilet trained, and also to walk on a harness and lead - a patient adopter is a must.

If you can offer Misty the forever home she is patiently waiting for then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you

Misty is looking for a monthly sponsor to help with her daily feed and vet costs until she finds her forever family. If you would like to help with this please get in touch
