cat ADOPTION application FORM

Please ensure you have read this fully before submitting your application. It includes essential information that may assist you with your decision of adoption

Please note that we will only rehome our cats as indoor cats. If you cannot guarantee to keep the adopted cat indoors then please do not apply.

    Complete if applicable
Please enter this carefully so we can contact you back

Please check this is correct before submitting. We will often email you in the first instance should we require any additional preliminary information. This can sometimes go into your spam folder so please do check this.
We require photographic ID for each adult adopter (either a drivers licence or passport) in addition to a utility bill that shows each adult adopters name and address.
Should you answer be no, then please do not submit the application at this time.
This is our standard minimum period between transports. If you are looking to adopt outwith this period please get in touch closer to the time you are looking to adopt.
We are unable to proceed with any adoption applications at this time if the transport donation cannot be covered fully after the homecheck is completed.
We will require details of your chosen vet to follow up and confirm that this has been done.  Failure to either neuter the adopted cat or provide written details from the vet as to any issues preventing this, may result in removal of your adopted cat.
Please feel free to ask us about any queries you have at this stage - one of our rehoming co-ordinators will contact you to discuss further.
If you should change your mind or successfully rehome a cat elsewhere, please let us know as soon as possible.  Our volunteers time is precious.

Please note that all call backs will be within 7-10 days usually, a little longer at our busiest times.  A call back will usually be arranged via email in advance of a call, so please do confirm your availability and reply to this as soon as possible.

"I rescued my dog Ben 1 year ago today from ARC. I had never owned a dog before but I knew I was ready and had a lot of love to give to a wee pooch. ARC made sure I was fully prepared and equipped to ensure I would be the right owner for a wee dog."
