blacky

Meet Blacky, one of 4 puppies (Bear, Mowgly and Vivi) saved by Florentina along with their mum Emma. Sadly Emma didn't survive an operation and 2 of her puppies died from Parvo leaving the lucky 4.

suzy

Meet the lovely Suzy, who has been in our care since late 2015 when she was a tiny pup.  

Suzy has taken her time in trusting people which is why she is only now being profiled. She has previously been very very fearful. She is now a little more confident around you, once she knows you.  Read more >>>

scooby

Meet Scooby! Scooby joined us in 2015 along with Piri the cat. Sadly their owner died and the neighbours took their chance to attack him. He was very badly beaten, close to death and was then taken and abandoned in the woods. Scooby was very lucky to survive, but thankfully he did. ​

lizzie

Lizzie was a stray who joined us in 2014 along with her companions from the street Cody and Rex.  Poor Lizzie had a terrible time as a stray and was rounded up not once but twice by the dog catchers and very badly beaten up the second time.

Lizzie has previously been a very shy dog, but through time and socialisation with people she is now much more confident.  ​

Gipsy

Gipsy has been patiently waiting for this moment, she is a lovely little black dog who has, until now, been invisible. She is one of our most lovely, friendly dogs who is always willing to please. 

Gipsy is another of the lucky ones, saved from death at the Public Shelter in 2016.

jack 

Meet the handsome Jack. He joined us in 2017 after narrowly avoiding being taken by the dog catchers in Florentina's village. 

He has settled in fantastically well and has had no issues with the other dogs he has met.  Read more>>>

brady

Just look at his beautiful face, meet Brady. Brady was saved from the Public Shelter during 2015, and was immediately reserved to be adopted in Germany. Unfortunately his adoption didn't work out through no fault of Brady's so he came back to Romania, which at the time was the best option for him. ​

Tara

Meet Tara, another lucky dog who joined us in 2016 after the Public Shelter closed.

Tara has kept a fairly low profile in her group, she is a very sweet dog who does all she can to avoid conflict with her small social group. ​  Read more >>>

red

Red is one of the lucky ones saved from the Public Shelter in 2015. He is a happy go lucky guy who takes everything in his stride.

He gets on fine with the dogs in his enclosure, he likes a cuddle or two and has his moments of playtime which he was happy to show us when we were there.  Read more>>>

xander

Isn't Xander just beautiful? The first thing you notice about him are his eyes, and then his fabulous personality to follow. Unbelievably Xander found himself in the Public Shelter, where Florentina took him to safety in late 2015. He was terribly underweight but has, in a few short months has blossomed and is now in perfect health and condition.  Read more >>>

Gia

Meet Gia, another lovely puplet who was saved from the Public Shelter in 2015 by another rescuer Vlad. Her companion from that time found his forever home in the UK and Gia remained behind but joined Florentina in foster. 

Gia is now looking for her forever home.

jasmine

Meet Jasmine, one of our beautiful dogs saved from the Public Shelter in 2016. 

Since joining our rescue sweet Jasmine has blossomed from the once skinny and frightened dog into a super sweet and playful dog once she knows you.

vivi

Meet Vivi, one of 4 puppies (Bear, Mowgly and Blacky) saved by Florentina along with their mum Emma. Sadly Emma didn't survive an operation and 2 of her puppies died from Parvo leaving the lucky 4.

Vivi was one of the pups who had Parvo. It took lot of love and TLC to bring her through this and she has no lasting effects of the illness.  Read more >>>

mowgly

Meet Mowgly, one of 4 puppies (Bear, Blacky and Vivi) saved by Florentina along with their mum Emma. Sadly Emma didn't survive an operation and 2 of her puppies died from Parvo leaving the lucky 4.

Mowgly was the smallest of the litter of 6 and had to be hand fed by Florentina.

haiduc

Haiduc is a lucky dog, saved from the Public Shelter in spring 2015, he then survived distemper.

We initially met Haiduc in May 2015 during our visit to the Public Shelter, he was friendly and so full of life and even now, is still so full of life despite everything he has been through.

oreo

Meet Oreo, our lovely puplet. Another of our lucky ones saved from death at the Public Shelter in 2016.

Oreo is a fairly laidback dog who is currently living with the rowdy gang (Diesel, Brady, Karla and Skooby). Oreo is great with all the dogs he has met, and could live with a dog who is laid back and not too bossy.

misty

Meet Misty, another of our lucky ones, saved in 2016 from death at the Public Shelter. 

Fast forward a few short months and Misty has transformed physically and mentally. In February she was skeletal and very very frightened and had pneumonia. She has gained weight slowly and is now fully fit and healthy.  Read more >>>

karvan

Karvan was another of the Public Shelter dogs saved late 2015, he was like so many others a skinny neglected dog when I met him on my December visit. Fast forward a few months and he is a different dog, he is in great condition and so full of life now, all thanks to our rescue angel Florentina. 

Karvan is a lovely boy, he has lots of energy and will always be one of the first to meet you at the gate.  Read more >>>

alba

Meet Alba, she was one of the many dogs saved in February 2016 from the Public Shelter. When she was first saved Alba had distemper. It was advanced to the 4th stage, the last phase, which thankfully she recovered from following a year long treatment. She has been left with a noticeable tremor but this doesn't affect her at all.

Meet Dylan, who just melts your heart with his eyes. Dylan was one of the 100+ Public Shelter dogs who joined our care in 2016. 

Dylan is a big softy who has been struggling lately in a shelter/kennel environment and would love nothing more than his very own forever home and family to love him. ​  Read more >>>

wren

Meet Wren, one of 3 pups who were saved from the Public Shelter in 2016. Her 2 sisters have found homes already but Wren waits patiently behind for her chance of a loving home. 

Wren is a 100% pure wiggle butt and 75% smiler with a healthy dose of bouncy pup thrown in.
