When you provide us with information we respect your privacy. It is important for you to understand what information is collected about you and what we do with that information. Your use of Animal Rescue Crew adoption services is subject to this Privacy Policy.

1. The Data We Collect
The only personal information collected about you is information you provide when you complete our adoption application, including but not limited to name, address, phone number(s), email address, and any information you have provided on your application. By providing this information you will be deemed to have consented to our collection of such information. You may review the information you have provided us at any time by emailing us. If you would prefer that we do not collect any personally identifiable information from you, please do not provide us with such information. Please note that if you do not wish to provide any personal information you will not be able to proceed to adopt with Animal Rescue Crew.

2. The Use of Personal Information
By accessing the Website and Facebook page via any means, you agree that your personal information may be collected, stored, used and shared by us and third parties we work with, for any of the following purposes:
(a) Adoption process and rescue follow up. This also includes our adoption contract. It may also involve contacting landlord/housing association to confirm consent to adopting and vets for reference purposes or welfare concerns.
(b) This includes being used to organise a homecheck using an approved homecheck volunteer; and includes using your address, email and contact numbers along with some household information provided on the adoption application to help the homecheck process and for verification purposes
(c) Registering your dog or cat microchip details with Identibase. This includes using name, address, email and contact numbers. For any use of third party details by you in this process you must obtain permission to do so before providing this information to us.
(d) For the purposes of completing a dog training follow up.
(e) Limited information will be used from any completed Gift Aid Declaration; name, first line of address and postcode, to facilitate online HMRC Gift Aid Claims, this is applicable to all completed declarations completed at any time since May 2014.
(f) Limited information is held on our volunteers for insurance purposes.

3. Data Protection
Your information is stored within the UK. Animal Rescue Crew will have no liability for disclosure of information due to unauthorised acts of third parties. In addition, we may disclose any information including personally identifiable information, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. We will also release information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of security or a physical threat to you or others.

We do our upmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to ensure that your data is stored securely, and in accordance with General Data Protection Security.

4. Payment Information
If you make a payment to Animal Rescue Crew via bank transfer or PayPal, Animal Rescue Crew neither receives or stores your account information.

For transparency we may use your name and donation amount on our Website and/or Facebook page or Facebook fundraising groups. If you should wish your donation to remain anonymous please let us know by emailing [email protected].

Our Facebook page and website may contain links to other sites that you may find of interest. However, once you have used these links you should note that we have no control over any other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you provide whilst visiting these sites, and such sites are not covered by this privacy statement.

We strongly believe in protecting the privacy of children.
