Meet Dylan, who just melts your heart with his eyes. Dylan was one of the 100+ Public Shelter dogs who joined our care in 2016.

Dylan is a big softy who has been struggling lately in a shelter/kennel environment and would love nothing more than his very own forever home and family to love him.

Despite his size, Dylan is a pushover with the other dogs and has tended to be bullied a fair bit. He has not had any issues around food and the other dogs. We would like to see him with a gentle laid back companion in his new home, someone who can ease him into home life and help his confidence grow day by day.

We are looking for a home with older children only who can give our gentle guy the space and boundaries he needs. We are unsure how is with cats so are looking for a cat free home. ​ ​

Dylan will be like our other shelter/kennel dogs; he will need a patient adopter who can work through his toilet training as required and who can introduce him to walking on a harness and lead once he arrives. He should do well at his required training class once settled - he loves food which makes things much easier.
