Luna has been with us since 2016, after being saved with over 100 dogs from the Public Shelter. Luna is one of thos dogs you never forget meeting, with the most soulfull eyes and happy go lucky natures. Luna has been living in a foster environment for some time now. She loves all the home comforts, and is now ready to find her very own forever family after so many years of patiently waiting her turn. We feel that Luna would make a fabulous family friend. She can live with children of 8 years and over, who are able to demonstrate the hands off approach needed as Luna takes time to settle in. Luna could also live with cats, however they would need to be confident around dogs, and be used to sharing their home with dogs before. Our girl would love to be the centre of the family, and could be an only dog in the right home, with someone who is around all or most of the day, however our preference would be for Luna to share her home with another gentle but confident dog who can help her settle and be a friend for life.
Luna is the most ideal dog who has already shown she is keen to please. Luna is a smart cookie, and we know she will do well with her training once she is a little better settled in. Like all the dogs before her, Luna works well for treats and praise, so it will take no time for her to learn some basic cues. Luna is playful and loves toys, and has a cheeky side that we have only seen glimpses of so far. As you will appreciate Luna is fostered with a large number of dogs, and she really would prefer a quieter home, with more one to one time. One of Luna's most favourite things is to snuggle and have some fuss, and would be happy with this every day in life with her new family. Luna should be reasonably clean in her new home, however her adopters should be aware that there may be accidents as she settles, learns a toiletting routine and adjusts to her new home and all that comes with this. Luna will also need to learn how to wear her harness and walking on a lead, however we do not anticipate any issues with this. If you have a Luna sized space in your home and heart and feel you can offer her the perfect home, then please complete the adoption application and someone will contact you If you would like to be a doggy sponsor then please see How You Can Help for further details. All our dogs love toys and treats and would welcome these from our Amazon Wishlist. |
