Meet Oreo, our lovely puplet. Another of our lucky ones saved from death at the Public Shelter in 2016.

Oreo is a fairly laidback dog who is currently living within Florentina's home. More and more he is coming into busier areas in search of the ever elusive empty sofa seat. Oreo is great with all the dogs he has met, and could live with a dog who is laid back and not too bosy. We do not know how Oreo is with cats, and at this time are unable to cat test him. He would also be happy to share his forever home with older children of 10+ years and upwards who can demonstrate an awareness of the space and boundaries a dog needs.

Oreo has previously had heart worms, and lost a lot of his coat because of this. He had a gentle slow treatment and is now heart worm free and his coat is back to it's former glory. Like all our dogs, Oreo will have his very thorough MOT and blood testing before travel, so his adopters should not be overly concerned with his previous issue.

Oreo has shown he is a super smart dog already so we hope this continues in his new home, especially when the time comes to attend his formal training. He will also require to learn how to walk on a harness and lead - so patience from his adopters is a must. He does occasionally have some accidents in his foster home, however it's more challenging given its a multi dog environments and marking. This should improve within his forever home with regular exercise and a regular outside toileting routine.

We really cannot believe that Oreo has not been snapped up yet. He is a fabulous dog, playful but not too rowdy. Good with dogs (and he's met so many), and a great all rounder. And who could resist his bat lugs and curly tail.
