Like so many other charitable animal rescues, ours has faced a very trying time during the entire 2020 so far. From Lockdown in February onwards, we have seen our doors close to rehoming and open again, albeit briefly again to rehoming dogs. We are always looking at ways to improve our adoption process so have looked to technology to help us keep going with the cat rehoming just now via the wonders of Zoom. Whilst our doors remain closed, for now, to dog adoptions we hope to review this again in the very near future. HAPPY DANCES AT LAST!Here are our 3 lucky Happy Bus Passengers so far! Left to right we have Sirius, Lucifer and Hamish, all now reserved and soon to travel to Scotland, Covid permitting, in November 2020. This may well be our first and last transport of 2020, but we remain ever positive of more furry passengers being able to join them on this or future transports. Our last confirmed passenger on this first and last transport will be Candy, the super sweet cuddly cat. Candy has waited a wee while to be admired and reserved, but it was worth the wait to find the perfect forever home. Candy will very soon pack her bag and hop onto the Happy Bus to join her new mum in Scotland. She will be an only cat and as such will be completely spoiled as any cat deserved to be! Happy Dance Time! Cutee Amaya is now reserved for adoption. Her family have been patiently waiting for just the right dog to join their family. Amaya will join Molly, another dog adopted from us, when she arrives to her forever home in Scotland. We are also delighted as Amaya will be our first dog (or cat) adopted in almost a year. We could not be more happy to know she will be headed to her home very soon to join her forever family We are delighted to let you know that Skye and Pepper are now both reserved and will soon travel to their forever home in Scotland - together! We are over the moon to hear that Karla is now reserved to a forever home in Germany. After nearly 6 years waiting, she finally has her chance. Thank you Streets Souls for working so hard to find our Karla a family. Pack your bags Karla, you’re travelling soon

Big thanks to Ralf for organising the neutering campaign for the unwanted public shelter dogs. The remaining dogs were all neutered yesterday in 2 locations. Special thanks go to Dr Aurelian Stefan and Dr Petrisor Stefan and their team of vet technicians and volunteers. In total 61 dogs were neutered leaving only 6 who outwitted the best capture methods to remain in tact another day (but not for long). This is a massive achievement! And not forgetting also the hard work Florentina and Florin do. It's hard to forget their continued tireless work helping and caring for all the dogs
